Front Entryways 7/3/20
Just a heads up that the entryway sprinklers have now been fixed. However, the entrance walls are in need of repair or replacement before landscaping can be updated. Due to the expense, a letter detailing costs will be sent out to homeowners for a neighborhood vote before ordering any repairs or landscape replacements. Please look for the letter and proxy vote in your mailbox coming soon. All homeowners are urged to vote for their input.

This will be the final week for Republic Services to make a special Wednesday collection of bulk items, brush and yard waste. Starting next week, they will go back to collecting all items on your regular collection days. As a reminder, brush, tree limbs, leaves and other yard waste must be placed in bags or cans or tied in bundles no longer than 4 feet in length weighing no more than 50 pounds. Republic Waste Services will pick up 4 cubic yards per house each week. Click here for more information on NRH City's website.
Hello HOA Families,
I hope you are all doing well and staying healthy! I wanted to share a message that was posted by the City of North Richland Hills that is in effect now and will impact our neighborhood. Please take note and do not place bagged yard waste for pick up until the city advises otherwise.
"Beginning the week of April 5, Republic Services resumes collection of bulky household items and bundled tree limbs with a special pickup each Wednesday throughout the city. However, they will not be picking up bagged grass or leaves at this time. We anticipate collection of bagged yard waste to resume in the near future.
Please place bulky items and bundled tree limbs out for collection only on Wednesdays. Bulky items over 50 pounds will not be collected. If you have bulky items that can wait for collection, please do not set them out during this time. Be mindful that Republic is being strained by staff shortages and we do not want to overwhelm this essential service.
On your normal collection days, crews will continue to focus on regular household waste. Please bag and tie all household waste to keep crews safe. Place bagged household trash in a separate pile from bagged yard waste, since crews are unable to collect all the yard waste at this time.
Republic has made these changes in their service delivery due to the increase in trash quantities, as well as a decrease in staff. With families at home practicing social distancing, there has been a 40% increase in household trash volumes. We appreciate your patience and understanding as we work through this crisis together. Our goal, as well as Republic’s, is to get back to normal operations as soon as possible."
Due to the nature of the Coronoavirus and social distancing, the HOA board has decided to temporarily suspend Yard of the Month and Welcome Baskets. We apologize for the inconvenience but feel it is in everyone’s best interest to remain home at this point in time and stay healthy, safe and avoid spreading the virus. If everyone does their part in staying in, we can stop this virus faster and get back to our routines sooner rather than later.
Our HOA board is now officially in place for the new year. Please join us in welcoming our 2020 board of directors and new associates.
All Forest Glenn residents are encouraged to attend our annual meeting.

A new Forest Glenn newsletter will be arriving shortly. Look for the lime green newsletter in a clear plastic bag which will be placed on your front door if you are not home. There's lots of announcements to come!
Our 2019 dues notices have now been mailed and are payable by March 15th. Please mail your check in the return envelope along with your completed Forest Glenn HOA Survey. As an alternative this year, you may pay electronically using the Zelle app (see dues notice for address). Please direct any payment questions to our treasurer.
Our 2019 dues notices are running late this year due to the transfer of new board members and production time. We apologize for the delay. Dues notices should be received by mid-February and will be payable within 30 days.
Thank you to our new board for volunteering your time! And a BIG THANK YOU to our former officers and associates for sacrificing their time and effort on behalf of our neighborhood! All our past & present volunteers make it possible to maintain low dues and quality service.
